Competition Coaching Fees and Policies
Music Fees:
$25.00 per skater for all ISI Competitive programs for the season (The fee is one cut of music at the
regular rate of $25.00 and you receive any other music needed for an ISI program for the season at no
extra charge). This price includes one master CD with your program music and cutting fees. Skaters
are responsible to make their own duplicate copies to practice with and to keep your original music as a
master copy. Music may also be emailed (in MP3 or WMA format only) if you have a high speed internet
connection to your primary coach, then the director staff for approval. Skaters are responsible to supply
any original music for programs if we do not have the track in our music library. Original music will be
returned once program is cut (copies of originals will not be returned). All music fees are made payable
to SSS2 and be sent to the Danielson address or given to Kim Lecuyer. The season ends at
Districts/Worlds.
Music Special Note: All music that is used for Symmetrical Skating School (SSS) competitive,
show, or testing events must be approved and professionally produced. All music produced outside SSS
must meet Symmetrical Skating School/Ice Skating Institute standards and be approved by a director.
All music needs to be sent to your primary coach, approved my the directors, and then sent to Tiesha
with a detailed explanation of the cuts. Tiesha will only accept music from the coaching staff unless
otherwise directed by your primary coach.
***Fees for shows, USFS programs, or any other non ISI event are not included in this fee. Please
inquire with the person doing your digital music editing in regards to fees for additional programs.
Fee Payment Schedule:
Fees are non-refundable for scratched events (exception: medical note from doctor/must be approved by all directors).
*Date for when the event registration and fees are due depend on the date posted by the competition
director and may fluctuate between 35-45 days prior to event and will be posted.
Payment 1: approx. 60 Days Prior to the event: $50.00 deposit and competition commitment form turned in
(If you are only doing one event your deposit will only be $30.00)
Payment 2: approx. 40 Days Prior to event* : Competition application, registration/Judges fees are due
Payment 3: approx 10 days after application due date: 50% of remainder of competition coaches fees are due
Payment 4: 1 week prior to event: Balance due to receive competition schedule
When competition commitment forms are turned in 60 days prior to the event, we will figure the
remainder of the billable coaches fees for the event based on the number of events skated and the hotel
fees that will be billed for the coaches who are attending the event.
Solo Events
1st Event: $30.00
2nd event: $20.00 each event
3rd and 4th event: $15.00 for each additional event
5th event and beyond: FREE !!!!
Travel: Coaching Hotel fees for all assigned coaches for the event divided by the number of skaters
Team Events (Production, Ensemble, Team Compulsory, Synchro)
$10.00 per team event for 2nd team event or when skater is registered for any solo event
$30.00 for any skater which this is their only event (no solo events)
Travel: Production/Synchro team will be considered one skater with travel divided by the total number of
skaters at event.
Family Discounts
A family discount of 50% of each additional event for each additional sibling for event fees only. Full
travel fees apply to all skaters. Each family member is responsible to pay full price for all first events
(including Production/Synchro). The discount will be applied to the 2nd skaters additional events only.

- Skaters must sign up for at least one other event to be eligible to compete in an Ensemble, Team
Compulsory. - Any skater registered for a team event in competition must make arrangements with the coach in
regard to practice times, lesson fees, and off ice schedules prior to registering for the event. The
fees for practice ice, on and off ice lessons, and costumes will be in addition to the fee to compete
and paid directly to the coach at each lesson or when costumes are purchased. - Any skater that misses any mandatory/scheduled practices can be removed from competitive team
with no refund.
